Google Search Console Insights

Built-in page to visualize a GSC property's SEO performance. URL: /gsc/{id}/insights or "Insights" button on the property card in /gsc.

GSC has an official 2-3 day delay on data. The page systematically displays D-3 as the end day to guarantee "final" numbers (no in-progress aggregation from Google).

Filters

  • Date range: Last 7 / 30 / 90 days (tabs)
  • Filter by URL ("URL contains"): e.g. /blog/ to filter blog SEO only. Apply / Clear button
  • Refresh: bypass the 1h cache

💡
Position is weighted by impressions — a page at position 30 with 1 impression counts much less than a page at position 5 with 1000 impressions. This is the relevant SEO average.

Charts (2 tabs)

  • Clicks × Impressions: impressions bars + clicks line (separate Y axes to keep readability when impressions >> clicks)
  • CTR × Position: CTR % line + position line with inverted Y axis (position 1 at top, position 30 at bottom — visually intuitive)

  • Top queries: query, clicks, impressions, CTR, position
